Walk in the Image of Jesus

 

Wow, on this walk with Christ, I have learned that God designed me to live

in union with His Son Jesus. This union does not negate who I am; it

actually makes me more fully myself. When I try to live independently of

Jesus, I experience emptiness and dissatisfaction. I have learned, you may

gain the whole world and yet lose everything that really counts.

 

You only find fulfillment through living close to Jesus yielding to His

purposes for you. Though He may lead you along paths that feel alien to

you, trust that He know what He is doing. If you follow Him wholeheartedly,

you will discover facets of yourself that were previously hidden. He know

you intimately—far better than you know yourself. In union with Him we are

complete. In closeness to Him we are transformed more and more into the

one He designed us to be.

 

 "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is

liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the

Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the

Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18 KJV). Try Jesus, He is real.
